WELCOME TO THE BWPPA WEBSITE

EUROPE'S LARGEST WHEELCHAIR POOL TOUR

As BWPPA Chairperson I would like to welcome you to look around our website.

The British Wheelchair Pool Players Association (BWPPA)  was formed to enable wheelchair players to participate in the American disciplines of  9 Ball and 8 Ball pool.

BWPPA is the recognised governing body of American wheelchair pool for Great Britain and is now the largest wheelchair tour in Europe and the second largest in the World outside the continental United States.

This is probably the most exciting time to join the BWPPA as we will be introducing a new exciting two day format in 2010 and with the help of our sponsors, we are expecting to deliver a player experience never seen before in UK wheelchair cue sports.

Each of our 4 events in 2010 will now give players more chances to play and more chances to win with Challenge-Cup and Main ranking events all crammed into a single weekend of pool.  NEXT EVENT!

The BWPPA Tour is a devil's playground of talent, we have two double European Wheelchair Pool Champions, USA National Pool Champions and multiple world champions at other wheelchair cue sports, who now play American pool.

You too could be part of the biggest and most exciting wheelchair pool tour in Europe.  BWPPA has players of many disabilities and abilities, there is a place for every wheelchair player with an interest in American pool.

Finally, the BWPPA would like to take this opportunity to recognise the hard work of everyone involved with the charitable organisation “The Gentlemen’s Night Out” and thank them for their continued generosity.  Without their financial support the BWPPA would not be able to provide disabled American pool players an outlet to showcase their abilities in the UK .
